At Comprehensive Physical Therapy, it’s very easy for you to get started. You’ll find all contact information for our offices located here, making it easy for you to get in touch with us. Typically, we’ll see you within 24 hours to get you back on the road to recovery.

You’ll want to be able to move with ease, so loose-fitting, comfortable clothing is best. We have extra rooms here that you are able to use to change in if needed.

We take most insurances! Just give us a call and we’ll be able to answer any questions about your insurance you may have. We also offer a self pay option.

Plan to spend at least 1 hour at your first appointment. Upon arrival at our office, you will meet with a licensed physical therapist who will perform an initial evaluation of your condition. During this evaluation, the therapist will ask you a series of questions about your past and present medical conditions before performing a comprehensive evaluation of your muscles, joints, nerves, tendons, and ligaments including: range of motion, strength, and functional testing. Based on the therapist’s findings along with your physician’s diagnosis and your personal goals, an individualized treatment plan will be devised. You will receive treatment and home exercise programs on your first visits. You will also schedule future appointments.

We perform various types of treatments and will customize a program combining the best treatments for your particular needs. Types of treatment include: manual therapy, neuro-dynamic techniques, soft-tissue massage, deep-tissue massage, joint mobilization, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoresis, stretching, and functional strengthening therapeutic exercises. Treatment programs are performed in a private treatment room and a gym setting using various athletic and rehabilitation equipment.

Most patients are seen for treatment two to three times per week. The total duration of PT will depend on the severity of your condition. The more committed you are to recovery (meaning you regularly attend your PT appointments and follow your home exercise program,) the faster you are likely to recover. We offer early morning and evening appointments to enable you to fit PT into your busy schedule.

Your therapist will customize a home treatment program that includes advice on reducing pain, exercises, and stretches for you to perform at home between your PT sessions. It is essential that you follow the instructions and perform the home exercises regularly to control your systems and speed up your recovery.

Each visit is between 45 and 60 minutes. Each visit will include hands-on treatment from your therapist and activities designed to strengthen the injured area through specific exercises and stretches under the supervision of your therapist.

Comprehensive Physical Therapy Center works with a personal billing service designed to keep our services affordable. Our goal is to minimize your out-of-pocket expense by ensuring your health insurance covers as much of your physical therapy treatments as possible. We handle health insurance verification, worker’s compensation, and auto authorization at no addition cost to you. Your out-of-pocket expenses will vary based on your insurance policy. Prescribed physical therapy is typically covered at least partially by most insurance companies. Depending on your insurance policy, you may or may not have a co-payment for each visit. Most of our patients have office visit copays between a $5 – $20. Payments can be made in the form of cash, checks, VISA, Mastercard and Discover.

Please call at least 4 hours in advance of your appointment to reschedule or cancel. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, you may be charged a fee according to our Cancellation/No Show Policy found in our New Patient Paperwork.
